The Government scheme provides fully-funded opportunities for employers to give young people work experience whilst allowing them to develop new projects and activity.

Who can apply
You can use the Kickstart Scheme to create new 6-month job placements for young people who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.
Currently Limited Companies with two years trading accounts can apply.
They must not:
- Replace existing or planned vacancies
- Cause existing employees or contractors to lose or reduce their employment
- The roles you are applying for must be for a minimum of 25 hours per week, for 6 months
- Should not require people to undertake extensive training before they begin the job placement

We can provide the necessary support to manage the application process, help with providing meaningful and valuable training to the Kickstart participant and be on hand for any advice and guidance.
Our successful approach demonstrates how young people will be supported to offer value to the employer and develop skills to enhance their employability prospects. Our support is fully funded through the Kickstart Scheme and a further £600 per role is available to the employer to helping pay for uniforms, specific training or other setup costs.
